From SIX to the Studio: Aimie Atkinson Releases Dance EP

07-07-25

If you’ve heard Aimie Atkinson’s powerhouse vocals in SIX the Musical, you already know she’s not one to hold back. Now, the West End star is turning up the volume again with her latest single Dare for Love, released as a high-energy Dance EP across all digital platforms.

Originally a contender for San Marino’s Eurovision 2025 entry, Dare for Love brings full pop drama with soaring vocals, glittering synths and all the emotional punch of a Eurovision classic. Co-written by Atkinson and produced by Steve Anderson and Terry Ronald, the track has been transformed into a full remix package, with edits from 7th Heaven and Initial Talk.

Atkinson rose to fame as one of the original Queens in SIX, playing Katherine Howard. Her performance earned her an Olivier nomination and made her a fan favourite on both stage and soundtrack. Her voice is still a staple on Matinee Musicals, and this new release shows a new side of her artistry.

The single is featured on her latest album Queen, released 20 June. The album blends musical theatre favourites with original pop material and was launched with a sold-out headline concert at the Vaudeville Theatre on 23 June. That night marked the finale of the Westway Sessions series, which also featured Lee Mead, Cassidy Janson and Kerry Ellis.

Previous singles Monster, Muse and The Tease established Aimie as one to watch on the UK pop scene. With Dare for Love, she cements her place as a crossover star ready to fill both theatres and dancefloors.

The Dare for Love Dance EP is available now on all major platforms.
