Marisha Wallace Drops ‘Cabaret’ and Launches a Vinyl Dream

18-07-25

Today’s a big day for musical theatre fans. Not only has Marisha Wallace just released her brand-new single Cabaret, ahead of her Broadway debut as Sally Bowles next week alongside Billy Porter, she’s also inviting fans to help bring her biggest project yet to life — a deluxe three-disc vinyl edition of her upcoming Live in London album.

The single, out now, offers a thrilling taste of what’s to come on the full album, recorded live at the Adelphi Theatre earlier this year. With her rich, emotive vocals, Wallace brings a bold new energy to Kander & Ebb’s title number, a song she’ll be performing night after night on Broadway starting 22 July. Her full album Live in London drops digitally and on CD on 15 August.

But Wallace has her heart set on something even more timeless — vinyl. She’s launched a Kickstarter campaign to help fund a beautifully produced three-disc set, celebrating her journey through the worlds of Dreamgirls, Waitress, Oklahoma!, Funny Girl, Guys and Dolls and more. It’s a love letter to musical theatre and the fans who’ve followed her from the West End to the Kit Kat Club.

“I’ve always dreamed of having my own vinyl release,” she says. “And now I’m asking my incredible fans to help me make that happen.”

Supporters can join her “Stage Door Darlings” community and unlock exclusive rewards — from signed lyric sheets and video messages to gig dresses, meet-and-greets in New York, and even a private concert.
