Otanoshimini! This November, SIX the Musical makes herstory once again as the original Japanese cast steps onto the Vaudeville Theatre stage for one week only. From Tuesday 4 – Sunday 9 November 2025, audiences will see the global phenomenon performed entirely in Japanese (with English captions) for the very first time in the UK.
Following sold-out seasons in Tokyo, Osaka and Nagoya, the acclaimed Japanese Queens are ready to conquer the West End. The cast features Sonim as Aragon, Meimi Tamura and Maho Minamoto alternating as Boleyn, Harumi as Seymour, Eliana and Marie Sugaya alternating as Cleves, Airi Suzuki and Erika Toyohara alternating as Howard, and Sora Kazuki and Ruki Saito alternating as Parr. They’ll be joined by Musical Director Aoi Tanaka.
To mark this landmark moment, audiences are invited to take part in two exclusive cultural workshops:
Japanese Language Workshop (Thu 6 November, 5.15–6.45pm)
Hosted by Dear Asia, this immersive session will guide fans through the lyrics of SIX in Japanese while introducing elements of Japanese language and culture. Expect singing, arts and crafts, and a chance to dive into the Queens’ world in a brand-new way.
Manga Workshop (Sat 8 November, 12–1.30pm)
Led by illustrator Chie Kutsuwada, this beginner-friendly class introduces the art of manga drawing, before participants create their own SIX-inspired portraits of the Queens. All materials are provided.
Both workshops are suitable for ages 10+, with limited capacity. Early booking is advised.
Producer Kenny Wax called the arrival of the Japanese Queens “a landmark moment for SIX,” adding: “These workshops will give fans an extra way to connect with the production – not only through the performances at the Vaudeville, but also by experiencing the language and culture of Japan first-hand.”
Umeda Arts Theater, the producers of the Japanese production, said: “The incredible response in Japan showed us how powerfully audiences connect with these Queens, and we are thrilled to now bring that energy to the West End. The addition of the masterclasses makes this visit even more special — it’s not only about seeing the show in Japanese for the first time in the UK, but also about sharing our language and culture with audiences in a truly interactive way.”
Six the Musical continues its reign as a global sensation, and the Japanese cast’s West End debut promises to be a dazzling fusion of theatre, culture and creativity.
