The West End’s most glamorous office is preparing for a major shake-up, with Vanessa Williams and Matt Henry MBE both set to leave The Devil Wears Prada: The Musical later this year.
Williams, who has won acclaim as the formidable Miranda Priestly since the production opened in London, will play her final performance at the Dominion Theatre on 19 September 2026. Matt Henry, who stars as the loyal Creative Fashion Director Nigel, will remain with the production until 17 October 2026.
The announcement marks the end of an era for one of the West End’s biggest recent successes. Since opening in December 2024, The Devil Wears Prada has become the fastest-selling production in the Dominion Theatre’s history, attracting audiences with its dazzling fashion, Elton John’s original score and a leading performance from Williams that has been widely praised.
While their successors have yet to be revealed, audiences now have one final opportunity to see both stars in their acclaimed roles before they leave Runway magazine behind.

Joining Williams and Henry in the current cast are Stevie Doc as aspiring journalist Andy Sachs, Taila Halford as Miranda’s razor-sharp assistant Emily, Keelan McAuley as Andy’s boyfriend Nate and Dominic Andersen as journalist Christian.
Based on Lauren Weisberger’s bestselling novel and the hit 2006 film, the musical follows Andy as she lands a coveted job at fashion magazine Runway, only to discover the personal cost of working for the seemingly impossible Miranda Priestly. Packed with sharp humour, stunning costumes and unforgettable music, the production has established itself as one of the West End’s must-see musicals.

The show features an award-winning creative team led by Elton John, with direction and choreography by Jerry Mitchell, a book by Kate Wetherhead and lyrics by Shaina Taub and Mark Sonnenblick.
The production first premiered at Theatre Royal Plymouth before transferring to the Dominion Theatre, where it continues to play to enthusiastic audiences. Its original cast recording, released last year, also became the number one new release on the compilations chart and includes two previously unheard Elton John demos.

With casting for the next Miranda Priestly and Nigel expected to be announced soon, demand is likely to be high for the remaining performances featuring Williams and Henry. The musical is currently booking at the Dominion Theatre until 6 February 2027.
