A decade of Hamilton history is being brought together in one definitive collection, with Rise Up! Hamilton: The Anthology set for release on 25 September as both a limited-edition seven-LP vinyl set and five-CD box set.

The new anthology combines the complete Original Broadway Cast Recording, The Hamilton Mixtape and Hamildrops: The Complete Collection, marking the first time the latter project has been made available on physical formats.
Also included is the previously unreleased HamilTEN Megamix, recorded live by the original Broadway company during the musical’s tenth anniversary performance at the 2025 Tony Awards at Radio City Music Hall. The reunion marked the first time the original cast had performed together on stage since 2016.
Featuring a new arrangement by musical supervisor Alex Lacamoire, the medley brings together highlights from Lin-Manuel Miranda’s score and is available digitally now. It will also appear as a CD single and collectible seven-inch vinyl within the respective anthology sets, paired with Miranda’s previously unreleased demo of My Shot.
Designed by two-time Grammy Award winner Masaki Koike, the deluxe packaging charts the extraordinary development of Hamilton from Broadway musical to global cultural phenomenon. An 80-page book includes previously unseen photographs, essays from Lacamoire, Jeremy McCarter, Chris Hayes and Riggs Morales, and reflections from members of the original Broadway cast.

The collection also features contributions from recording producers Tarik “Black Thought” Trotter, Ahmir “Questlove” Thompson and Bill Sherman, alongside artists who appeared on the Mixtape and Hamildrops projects, including Sia, “Weird Al” Yankovic and Regina Spektor.
Further additions include a message from Miranda, the complete libretto, a poster and a replica ticket from the production’s opening night at The Public Theater. The individually numbered vinyl edition will be pressed on “Copper Black Ice” records and comes with a custom slipmat and wooden seven-inch adapter.

Released in 2015, the Original Broadway Cast Recording became the first cast album to achieve Diamond certification and remains the biggest-selling musical theatre recording of all time. The album has now spent more than 500 weeks on the Billboard 200, while music from the show has generated over 11.5 billion streams worldwide.

Its 2016 follow-up, The Hamilton Mixtape, topped the Billboard charts with reinterpretations from artists including Alicia Keys, Usher, Kelly Clarkson, Nas, Sia and Queen Latifah. The monthly Hamildrops releases followed between 2017 and 2018, featuring everyone from Sara Bareilles and The Decemberists to Mobb Deep and Barack Obama.
Bringing those recordings together for the first time, Rise Up! Hamilton: The Anthology offers a substantial celebration of the music, artists and creative ambition that helped Hamilton reshape the modern cast recording.
