Emily Lane will star as Cady Heron, the home-schooled outsider who lands at North Shore High, with Vivian Panka stepping into the stilettos of Regina George. Sophie Pourret takes on the delightfully daft Karen Smith, Georgie Buckland joins as Janis Sarkisian, and Max Gill will bring the wit as Damian Hubbard. Karim Zeroual joins the cast as Kevin Ganatra, with Joshua Elmore appearing as Mr Duvall. Further casting is still to be announced.

Emily Lane is already a West End favourite, having played Anna in Frozen at Theatre Royal Drury Lane, as well as appearing in Hello, Dolly! at the London Palladium and Evita in Concert. She was most recently seen as Anne Boleyn in Anne Boleyn, The Musical at Hever Castle. Vivian Panka arrives fresh from the UK tour of Dear Evan Hansen and has also been seen in Heathers at The Other Palace and 9 to 5 The Musical.

Sophie Pourret is currently preparing to appear in Elf the Musical at the Aldwych Theatre, following credits including Guys and Dolls at the Bridge Theatre and La Cage Aux Folles at Regent’s Park Open Air Theatre. Georgie Buckland can currently be seen leading The Devil Wears Prada at the Dominion Theatre, with previous credits including Shrek The Musical and Bedknobs and Broomsticks.

Max Gill’s credits span Charley’s Aunt at the Watermill Theatre, The Boy in the Dress for the RSC and Disney’s Dumbo. Karim Zeroual is well known from CBBC and Strictly Come Dancing, as well as appearing in The Lion King and Chitty Chitty Bang Bang. Opera singer Joshua Elmore brings a wealth of classical experience from Opera Holland Park and English National Opera.

The tour opens at Manchester Opera House on 23 February 2026, before heading to more than 30 cities across the UK and Ireland through to January 2027. Newly announced stops include Stoke, Eastbourne, Woking, Leicester, Aberdeen, Canterbury, Norwich, Nottingham, Sheffield, Wimbledon, Birmingham, Oxford and Southampton.

Based on Tina Fey’s smash hit film, Mean Girls The Musical follows the rise and fall of Cady Heron as she tangles with Regina George and her Plastics. Packed with razor-sharp wit, killer songs, and plenty of pink, it has already proven itself a phenomenon in New York and London.

The West End production ran from June 2024 to June 2025 at the Savoy Theatre, where it played to over 330,000 people and won Best New Musical at the 2025 WhatsOnStage Awards.

With Tina Fey’s book, music by Jeff Richmond, lyrics by Nell Benjamin and Casey Nicholaw directing and choreographing, the tour promises a hilarious and high-energy night out.

The message is simple. Don’t be fooled by the pink. These Plastics bite.
