A stellar trio of stage favourites join National Theatre at Home this winter, as three acclaimed productions arrive on the global streaming platform.

From David Tennant’s searing West End return in Good to Caissie Levy’s powerhouse performance in Next to Normal and Juliet Stevenson’s haunting new turn in The Land of the Living, the season captures the depth and brilliance of modern theatre.

From 25 November, Good joins the platform in a gripping revival of C.P. Taylor’s political classic, directed by Dominic Cooke and filmed at London’s Harold Pinter Theatre. Tennant stars as John Halder, a good man drawn into the unthinkable as the world edges toward war, alongside Elliot Levey and Sharon Small.

Next to Normal

From 2 December, the Tony and Pulitzer Prize-winning musical Next to Normal arrives, starring Caissie Levy as Diana Goodman, a mother battling bipolar disorder and memory’s ghosts. Directed by Michael Longhurst, the London production transferred from the Donmar Warehouse to the Wyndham’s Theatre after a sold-out run.

Soon after, The Land of the Living will stream fresh from the National Theatre’s Dorfman stage. Written by David Lan and directed by Stephen Daldry, the drama stars Juliet Stevenson as Ruth, a UN relief worker whose wartime choices return to confront her decades later.

Launched in 2020, National Theatre at Home now offers more than one hundred titles to stream worldwide, with new releases added monthly. Subscriptions are available now at the official site HERE.

All productions include captions, and most are available with Audio Description.
