The stage adaptation features an original score by Bryan Adams and his longtime songwriting collaborator Jim Vallance, whose hits together include “Summer of '69” and “Heaven”.
The musical also features Roy Orbison and Bill Dees' classic “Oh, Pretty Woman”, the song which inspired the film's title.
The book is by the film's director Garry Marshall and screenwriter J.F. Lawton, with original direction and choreography by Jerry Mitchell, whose credits include Kinky Boots, Legally Blonde and Hairspray.
Direction for the touring production is recreated by Dominic Shaw.
The creative team also includes scenic designer David Rockwell, costume designer Tom Rogers, working from Gregg Barnes' original Broadway designs, lighting designers Kenneth Posner and Philip S. Rosenberg, sound designer John Shivers and musical supervisor Will Van Dyke.
Following its world premiere in Chicago in 2018, Pretty Woman: The Musical transferred to Broadway before opening in London's West End in February 2020.
