There will also be stops in the Bad Education classroom and the Strictly Come Dancing ballroom as Williams combines music and dance with stories from behind the scenes of his career. Backed by a company of performers, the show will feature live vocals and choreography alongside some of the songs and moments which have defined his two decades on stage and screen. Williams began his professional career aged just 12 when he took over the title role in the West End production of Billy Elliot at the Victoria Palace Theatre. His subsequent musical theatre career has included Thriller Live, Rent, Hairspray, Kiss Me, Kate and Matthew Bourne's The Car Man and Lord of the Flies.

He went on to take the title role in Everybody's Talking About Jamie at London's Apollo Theatre and played the Emcee in Cabaret at the Kit Kat Club.
Most recently, Williams starred as the Iceberg in Titanique at the Criterion Theatre, winning the Olivier Award for Best Actor in a Supporting Role in a Musical. He subsequently transferred with the production to Broadway, earning a Tony Award nomination. Before heading out with Layton Live, Williams will return to the stage as King Herod in Jesus Christ Superstar at Regent's Park Open Air Theatre.

His screen career has meanwhile included Bad Education, Strictly Come Dancing, I Hate Suzie, I Kissed A Boy, Benidorm and Netflix's People We Meet on Vacation. He will also appear as stylist Onassis in Geek Girl.
