Susan Egan Returns to the Underworld for a Special Halloween at Disney’s Hercules

03-10-25

It’s about to get godly at Theatre Royal Drury Lane. For one night only this Halloween, Disney’s Hercules is throwing open the gates of the underworld for a night of music, mischief, and mythic mayhem — with a very special guest appearance from none other than Susan Egan, the original voice of Meg from the beloved animated classic.

On Thursday 31 October, Hades takes over the front of house for a spook-tacular pre-show experience packed with themed cocktails, villainous photo ops, and a few devilish surprises. Audiences are invited to come dressed in their most creative Halloween looks — extra points for those inspired by Disney’s greatest villains.

Then, at curtain call, fans are in for a treat as Susan Egan joins the company live on stage for a special “third act” performance, leading a one-night-only Disney Villain medley to close the evening in suitably sinister style.

Egan said:

“When Herc comes calling, what’s a Meg to do?! I’m thrilled to be coming to London to join the cast of Hercules for a very special third act this Halloween! That’s Hades’ big day, after all, and I hold no grudges. This brilliant story holds a very special place in my heart, so it’s truly wonderful to celebrate its new life at Theatre Royal Drury Lane – and even make my debut on that iconic stage!”

Egan, who also voiced Lin in Spirited Away and earned a Tony Award nomination for originating the role of Belle in Broadway’s Beauty and the Beast, reunites with Disney magic for the London production.

The Halloween takeover will also be supported by Lorcana, the Disney trading card game from Ravensburger, offering special giveaways throughout the evening.

The West End production of Disney’s Hercules stars Luke Brady as Hercules, Mae Ann Jorolan as Meg, Trevor Dion Nicholas as Phil, and Stephen Carlile as Hades, under the direction and choreography of Casey Nicholaw.

Tickets for the Halloween performance, starting at 8pm on Thursday 31 October, are available now. Get tickets from the official site HERE
