The Boys Are Back: Jersey Boys Returns for Its 20th Anniversary Tour

07/11/25

Oh, what a night! The original Tony Award-winning musical sensation Jersey Boys is hitting the road again for a major 20th Anniversary UK and Ireland tour, opening at New Wimbledon Theatre on 15 June 2026 and booking through 2027. Tickets go on general sale Tuesday 11 November 2025 at JerseyBoysMusical.co.uk

Written by Marshall Brickman and Rick Elice, with music by Bob Gaudio and lyrics by Bob Crewe, the global hit tells the remarkable true story of Frankie Valli and The Four Seasons, four guys from Jersey who took the world by storm.

From the streets of Newark to the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, the show charts their meteoric rise, dazzling harmonies, and the personal struggles behind the fame. Expect a catalogue of hits including Sherry, Big Girls Don’t Cry, Walk Like A Man, Beggin’, Can’t Take My Eyes Off You and Oh What a Night.

Producer Michael David of The Dodgers said, “We’re so grateful to work our way back to you and celebrate 20 years of chasing the music, trying to get home.”

This new tour reunites the original Broadway creative team, led by Tony Award winners Des McAnuff (director) and Sergio Trujillo (choreographer), with scenic design by Klara Zieglerova, costumes by Jess Goldstein, lighting by Howell Binkley, sound by Steve Canyon Kennedy and projections by Michael Clark.

Since its Broadway debut in 2005, Jersey Boys has won 65 major awards, including the Tony, Olivier, and Helpmann for Best New Musical, and been seen by over 30 million people worldwide.

The 20th Anniversary UK and Ireland Tour will visit more than 25 cities, including Manchester, Cardiff, Edinburgh, Belfast, Leeds and Glasgow, with more dates still to come.
