The award-winning Regent’s Park Open Air Theatre production of Tim Rice and Andrew Lloyd Webber’s Jesus Christ Superstar will storm into the London Palladium next summer, led by Sam Ryder as Jesus in his West End debut.

Playing for an 11-week season from 20 June to 5 September 2026, this electrifying production brings rock roots, powerhouse vocals and a full cast of 30 to one of London’s most iconic stages.

Featuring the legendary songs I Don’t Know How to Love Him, Gethsemane and the title anthem Superstar, this revival captures the raw energy and revolutionary spirit that made Jesus Christ Superstar a global phenomenon.

Directed by Tim Sheader, with choreography by Olivier Award-winner Drew McOnie and design by Tony and Olivier Award-winner Tom Scutt, the Palladium season marks the latest chapter in the show’s enduring legacy.

Speaking about joining the production, Sam Ryder said:

“I’m so excited to be part of one of the biggest institutions in musical theatre the world’s ever known at The London Palladium! I’m honoured to take on this responsibility as I follow in the footsteps of rock vocal titans like Ian Gillan and John Farnham. I can’t wait to immerse myself in the world of Jesus Christ Superstar in 2026.”

Jesus Christ Superstar plays at The London Palladium from 20 June to 5 September 2026. Get tickets from the official site HERE
