There’s a promotion at Runway as The Devil Wears Prada The Musical unveils the full company joining Teri Hatcher and Matt Henry at London’s Dominion Theatre. Jenna Bonner will take over the leading role of Andy Sachs, having previously served as first cover Andy in the West End production. She will join Teri Hatcher as Miranda Priestly and Matt Henry MBE as Nigel, while Dean Makowski-Clayton also receives an in-house promotion, moving from Irv Ravitz to the role of Andy’s boyfriend Nate.

Taila Halford continues as Miranda’s first assistant Emily, with Dominic Andersen remaining as Christian. Hatcher takes over as Miranda on 20 October 2026, following Debbie Kurup’s current stint in the role. Kurup remains with the production as first standby Miranda.

The new ensemble comprises Jak Allen-Anderson, Georgia Aspinall, Anta Bah, Evonnee Bentley-Holder, Teagan Denham, Russell Dickson, Eve Drysdale, Selina Hamilton, Helen Hill, Kimberley Hoyle, Emma Johnson, Justin-Lee Jones, Mark Lamb, Ethan Le Phong, Zixi Li, Shannon Molloy, Jacob Morrish, Nay-Nay, Eddylia Osborne, David Peter Brown, Theo UK Rose, João Silva, Ellie Stevens, Maisy Stones, Kayleigh Thadani, Hannah Victoria-Bennett and Alex Woodward.

The cast announcement comes as the West End production passes another major milestone. Having opened at the Dominion Theatre in December 2024, the musical has now sold more than 1.3 million tickets and celebrated its 800th performance on 23 September. The show is currently booking until 25 September 2027.

Costume designer Gregg Barnes has created a sizeable wardrobe for the production, combining hundreds of handmade pieces with vintage and second-hand clothing and designs from labels including Dior, Vivienne Westwood, Alexander McQueen and Balmain. More than 80 pairs of shoes have been supplied by British footwear brand Terry de Havilland, while Miranda and Andy each make 11 costume changes during the show.

There’s plenty happening backstage too. The production uses 680 grams of confetti at every performance, adding up to around 5.4kg each week, while the Deputy Stage Manager calls a cue on average every six seconds.

The Devil Wears Prada The Musical features music by Elton John, lyrics by Shaina Taub and Mark Sonnenblick and a book by Kate Wetherhead. Jerry Mitchell provides new direction and choreography, with a creative team also including set designer Tim Hatley, costume designer Gregg Barnes, lighting designer Bruno Poet, sound designer Gareth Owen and casting director Jill Green CDG.
Based on Lauren Weisberger’s 2003 novel and the 2006 film, the musical follows aspiring journalist Andy Sachs as she lands a job at Runway magazine working for its notoriously demanding editor-in-chief Miranda Priestly. The Devil Wears Prada The Musical continues at the Dominion Theatre, where it is currently booking until 25 September 2027.
