Love Never Dies returns to London next month with Jamie Muscato and Celinde Schoenmaker

Andrew Lloyd Webber’s Love Never Dies is heading back to London next month for five performances only at the London Palladium from 16 to 18 October 2026.

with Muscato taking on the Phantom opposite Schoenmaker as Christine Daaé. They are joined by George Blagden as Raoul, Courtney Stapleton as Meg Giry and Mazz Murray as Madame Giry. Newly announced casting sees Holly James play Fleck, Nic Greenshields as Squelch and Charles Brunton as Gangle. Completing the company are Leslie Garcia Bowman, Georgia Joan Clements, Sally Frith, Christian Knight, Louis Mackrodt, Gleanne Purcell-Brown, Hollie Jane Stephens and Tommy Wade-Smith.

Love Never Dies is Andrew Lloyd Webber’s sequel to The Phantom of the Opera, picking up the story a decade after the Phantom disappeared from the Paris Opera House. Now living in New York, the Phantom has found a new home for his music but remains obsessed with Christine. He lures her to America to perform one final time, bringing her husband Raoul and their young son Gustave with her. Their reunion reopens the past and reveals secrets which threaten the lives the characters have built since the events of The Phantom of the Opera.

The musical includes songs such as “Till I Hear You Sing”, “Beneath a Moonless Sky”, “Devil Take the Hindmost” and the title number “Love Never Dies”. The score is by Andrew Lloyd Webber, with a book by Lloyd Webber and Ben Elton, alongside Glenn Slater and Frederick Forsyth. Lyrics are by Slater, with additional lyrics by Charles Hart, and orchestrations by David Cullen and Lloyd Webber.

Shaun Kerrison will direct the concert, with choreography by Joanna Goodwin and set and costume design by Rebecca Brower. Tim Deiling provides lighting design, Paul Gatehouse is sound designer and Simon Lee is music supervisor. Sarah Jane Price Casting is responsible for casting, with Jennie Quirk as costume supervisor and Katie Balmforth overseeing props.

The concert’s arrival is particularly timely for Phantom fans, taking place during the 40th anniversary year of The Phantom of the Opera in London’s West End. The original production of Phantom opened in 1986 and continues at His Majesty’s Theatre. It has subsequently been seen by more than 160 million people in 217 cities, 58 territories and 23 languages.

Love Never Dies originally opened at London’s Adelphi Theatre in 2010. The musical has subsequently undergone significant changes and been staged internationally, including a substantially reworked Australian production.

For its latest London appearance, audiences will have just five opportunities to see the concert production at the Palladium: 7.30pm on Friday 16 October, 2.30pm and 7.30pm on Saturday 17 October, and 2.30pm and 7.30pm on Sunday 18 October 2026.
