Titanique Welcomes New Cast Members as Olivier-Winning Splash Hit Sails On

10-06-25

A new cast boards the Ship of Dreams today as the Olivier Award-winning West End musical Titanique welcomes fresh performers to its company. Currently booking through Sunday 4 January 2026, the production continues its wave of success following its win for Best New Entertainment or Comedy Play at the 2025 Olivier Awards.

A hit with theatre audiences and a firm favourite among the musical numbers played on MatineeMusicals, Titanique has developed a dedicated following for its blend of parody, powerhouse vocals, and pop spectacle.

From today, Luke Bayer (Everybody’s Talking About Jamie, RENT) joins as Jack. Richard Carson (Les Misérables, Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat) takes over as Cal. Hiba Elchikhe (The Time Traveller’s Wife, Aladdin) stars as Rose. Carl Mullaney (La Cage Aux Folles, Les Misérables) steps into the role of Ruth. Tosh Wanogho-Maud (Robin Hood, The Drifters Girl) becomes The Iceberg. Caitlin Tipping (SIX, Frozen the Musical) joins the company as offstage understudy. Learn more about the cast HERE.

They appear alongside returning cast members Darren Bennett, Lauren Drew, Charlotte Wakefield, and ensemble performers Adrianne Langley, Madison Swan, Rodney Vubya, and Freddie King.

Producers Eva Price and Michael Harrison said: “We’re so thrilled by the incredible response Titanique has received from UK audiences. We’re delighted to welcome these brilliant triple threat performers aboard this summer to bring their extraordinary talent and humour to our unsinkable team.”

Blending the epic romance of Titanic with the iconic music of Céline Dion, Titanique offers a wild, affectionate reimagining of the 1997 film. With Céline herself re-telling the story in her own unique way, the show delivers show-stopping numbers like My Heart Will Go On, All By Myself, and To Love You More, all performed with a live band.

Originally co-written by Tye Blue, Marla Mindelle, and Constantine Rousouli, the musical premiered Off-Broadway in 2022 before transferring to New York’s Daryl Roth Theatre. It has since expanded internationally, with productions now in London, Sydney, and Paris.

Directed by Tye Blue and choreographed by Ellenore Scott, the creative team also includes Nicholas James Connell (Music Supervision and Orchestrations), Gabriel Hainer Evansohn and Grace Lauchbacher (Scenic Design), Alejo Vietti (Costume Design), Paige Seber (Lighting Design), and Lawrence Schober (Sound Design). Casting is by Pearson Casting CDG.

Alongside its Olivier Award, Titanique has won seven major accolades including three Lucille Lortel Awards, the Off-Broadway Alliance Award, and two Dorian Awards.

Now with a refreshed cast and continued acclaim, Titanique shows no signs of slowing down—remaining a joyful staple of West End programming and a beloved listen for fans of musical theatre.
