The Choir of Man raises a final pint at the Arts Theatre and looks ahead to a UK tour

Updated 31-12-25

After four record-breaking years in the West End, Olivier Award-nominated international sensation The Choir of Man is preparing to say farewell to its London home at the Arts Theatre, marking the moment with the release of a special new video titled Last Orders (For Now).

This is not a goodbye, more a promise of what comes next. As the show approaches its final West End performance on 4 January 2026, the newly released farewell video captures the spirit, warmth and camaraderie that have defined The Choir of Man since it first opened in October 2021. Filmed throughout the Arts Theatre, the video follows the cast as they pass a pint through backstage corridors, foyers and balconies, reflecting on the friendships, memories and shared joy that turned the venue into something far more than just a stage.

Since opening, more than 500,000 audience members have stepped inside The Jungle across over 1,000 performances, making it one of the West End’s most consistently joyful success stories. Built around soaring harmonies, foot-stomping singalongs and moments of poetic reflection, the show has become beloved for its uplifting celebration of community, connection and music. Many performances have sold out, with audiences returning again and again to raise a glass and join the party.

The farewell video makes clear that this really is “last orders, for now”. Following its final London performance, The Choir of Man will embark on its first ever UK and Ireland tour in 2026, taking The Jungle on the road and bringing its infectious energy to audiences across the country. The tour will open at New Wimbledon Theatre on 14 March 2026 and continue through December, with further dates to be announced.

Creator and director Nic Doodson reflected on the moment, describing the Arts Theatre as a true home for the company. He spoke of the audiences who laughed, sang and raised a pint night after night, turning the show into a family. While the goodbye is bittersweet, he emphasised that this is the start of a new chapter, with the same spirit of community heading out on tour.

Set in “the best pub in the world”, The Choir of Man features an extraordinary cast of nine performers combining rich vocal harmonies, tap dance and storytelling with a soundtrack packed with hits from artists including Queen, Luther Vandross, Sia, Paul Simon, Adele, Guns N’ Roses, Avicii and Katy Perry. The result is 90 minutes of feel-good entertainment, complete with free beer, that has proved irresistible to audiences around the world.

The show’s success stretches far beyond London. The Choir of Man has played sell-out seasons at the Sydney Opera House and enjoyed multiple sold-out US and European tours. It received an Olivier Award nomination for Best Entertainment or Comedy Play and has partnered with suicide prevention charity CALM, as well as Signature Brew as its official alcohol-free beer partner.

As the final glasses are raised at the Arts Theatre, The Choir of Man is not closing its doors. It is simply packing up the pub and taking it on the road.
